I'm so many things, but my most notable characteristic is having a penchant for noticing flaws in written work. Producing written work that is sound in the rules of grammar, spelling, and mechanics is critical; so is working with a proofreader who can point out things you may not see yourself. This quality makes me a constant source of annoyance to my children (and most of my friends), but it can be of great service to others...which is why you've found this site.
